This low-alcohol drink is popular in South Africa. It is my go-to designated driver drink. Unlike most non-alcoholic drinks, it’s not:
- Sickly sweet
- A poor imitation of something better
- Inexplicably expensive

Lemonade
150ml
Soda Water
150ml
Angostura Bitters
2-3 dashes
Instructions
Preparation
- Fill a glass with some ice cubes.
- Pour in the lemonade and soda water.
- Add 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters.
- Give it a quick stir.
- Drink
